So, How Was Your Day? Breakfast: Artichoke quiche. Yes, quiche. Lunch: Turkey salad. Coffee. Dinner: Quinoa salad. Wine. Morning ➛ Somehow wide awake at 4:15 am. Listening to my hubby and dogs sleeping in bed. Thinking about the day ahead. Off to gym at 6:30 am. TRX here I come. New York phone calls/planning for our NYC promotions. Call time at 8:30 am for week 9 of shooting for our new show. Wore McQueen head to toe. I headed off to an amazing contemporary home in Encino for a closet visit. Insane closet. Sweetest client. Scored many treasures. Noon ➛ Stuck on the 405 for forty minutes. Oy. I never use the freeway. My normal commute is 3 minutes. My 3 year old Mini Cooper has 7000 miles on it. I’m a total grandma! Changed in the car into a Thom Browne situation. Off to shoot number 2 with LA’s hottest choreographer. I heart her. Her house is a Spanish beauty in Los Feliz. She’s very boho. Picked up some Missoni gowns etc. Back to the store to finish up a sale to Lady Gaga. I helped her stylist find some great vintage pieces. Night ➛ Haircut at 901 Huntley. Dinner at Soho House with InStyle Magazine in honor of Jason Wu. Amazing night. Sat next to Lana Del Rey and saw friends like Jennifer Morrison and Ariel Foxman from InStyle. Ariel and I ran into Charlize Theron. Kinda crazy. I was in Tom Ford with a touch of Jil Sander and Prada. Early call again tomorrow. In my backyard typing away. Starlit night. My dog Rocco next to me. Kinda perfect. Three Last Things… 1. What’s up with you looking so buff…does your new show have anything to do with it? Blush. The camera does add 10lbs. So yeah, I’m guilty of a touch of vanity. 2. Speaking of your show, we hear it’s on Bravo…if you did a crossover episode and starred on the Real Housewives, what would your opening tagline and pose be? My pose would be blue steel with a sly grin. 3. Tomorrow the world ends (it is 2012 and all) and you survive with ONE outfit for the rest of eternity…which would you rather: (A) Tom Ford suit with cross trainers (B) Fitted McQueen with Uggs I hate sneakers with suits, but Uggs are the worst.
